Village Market Children’s Activities FAQs
Where will the children’s activities be held?
They will be held at the picnic benches in the Ben Lomond County Park on Mill Street.
Are children’s activity providers paid?
Yes! They paid $100 per market day (10:00 am to 2:00 pm, with breaks).
What kinds of children’s activities are you seeking?
We are looking to feature a rotating selection of engaging, hands-on activities such as:
- Arts and crafts
- Storytelling
- Interactive games
- Face painting
- Seasonal or themed creative projects
Is power available?
Yes! There is power available at the Mill Street Park, where the activities will be held. Make sure to bring an extension cord if you need to use power.
Do activity providers need to bring their own materials?
Yes. Coordinators must bring all supplies and materials needed for their projects.
Are children supervised during activities?
Yes. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
How do I apply to lead a children’s activity?
Kid’s Activity Coordinators should complete the Application and will be reviewed for fit and availability.
What if it rains?
The market will be open rain or shine, so don’t forget your umbrella and rain boots on wet days!
Are there restrooms available?
Yes, limited restrooms are available at the Ben Lomond County Park for visitors.
