BLVA… First Potluck Dinner
Last Sunday night, April 27th, was an evening of camaraderie in our Village. The Ben Lomond Village Alliance hosted their first “Potluck Dinner.”…not to worry if you missed it, there’s more planned.

The community arrived to enjoy an evening of friendship. That “nice to meet you,”….. “Hey, I’ve seen you around town” kind of feeling. It’s so nice to see friendly faces.
It turns out that our Village is full of gourmands. The food you brought for this occasion was outstanding. Salads, deserts, sausage, artichoke rice dish…Oh yummm…… More please.

Great conversations were had by all, the sound of laughter sprinkled through out the Park Hall….all signs that good times were being had by all. And hey, maybe some music next time, that will make you want to dance and sing. Now that would be fun…A dinner dance!!!….no promises, we’ll see.
The dinner ended and everyone went home with happy bellys, soft voices, and sore cheeks from laughter. Later on that evening, a vase of beautiful “smell good” flowers arrived on the steps of the Wee Kirk Church. We take this as a huge thank you from a mystery admirer of the BLVA. WOW. We were all so touched by your kindness, thoughtfulness, and probably most important, your show of support. We love you whomever you are. Thank you so much.
